Where are you from and how did you get to be at the station:
No one is really sure where I’m from. The station felt sorry for me and said I was hired.
What is your favorite part about your job:
It's not really work, I get paid to have fun.
Favorite free-time activity:
Back in 1976, I had my Amateur Radio Novice License (WN9UBB). By the time my license expired I had lost interest. In January of 2007, I got my Amateur Radio License Back. My call sign is K9FOV and I enjoy talking to friends from all over the world and enjoy long walks with my wife Carol.

Give us a little background on yourself:
Life long resident of Lafayette. 1973 Graduate of Jefferson High School. Was told in High School that I would never hold a job in radio, which is why I got in radio. Married my beautiful wife Carol in 1979. Today we have 4 beautiful grand kids and one kid still at home. Our cat, her name is 9 Toes and she rules the house.
My radio career began at a little FM Station in Lafayette that was out where the cows roam to eat grass. “Stereo 92 back then, today that station is one of our sister stations WKHY.
