Wolf Park
A unique educational and research wildlife park. Open Tues. thru Sun. (May through November), 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wolf-bison demonstrations start at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Saturday programs change themes each month, and deal with such topics as "Folklore of the Wolf," "History of Wolf Park," "Animal Training," etc. Wolf Howl Nights are every Saturday night at 7:30 p.m., year round and Friday & Saturday from May to November at 7:30 p.m. (canceled if rain or snow). Tippecanoe Battlefield Museum
Discover the history of a time when two Shawnee brothers, Tecumseh and The Prophet, had a dream of uniting many tribes into an organized defense against the White settlers. Experience the site of The Battle of Tippecanoe and explore the grounds where the conflict occurred, now a national historic landmark. The museum is closed in January for cleaning and maintenance. Long Center for the Preforming Arts
Built in 1920 - 1921, Long Center began its life as a vaudeville house and now is the permanent home of the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra. Of special interest is the Center's Grand Theatre Organ which contains 1,400 pipes and is encased in an ornate console, beautifully finished in ivory and gold. Riverside Skating Center
This outdoor ice skating rink is a popular spot during the colder months. The facility offers open skating during the day and evening hours. There is also a food/drink vending area, lockers, public restrooms and skate rental is available. Located at 100 Tapawingo Drive North in West Lafayette. Fort Ouiatenon
This fort features a recently restored block house and a 30-acre riverside park. The fort is also the site of the annual Feast of the Hunters’ Moon, a fall festival that recreates life at an 18th century fur trading outpost. Spend the day engaged in lively trading with the reenactors or savor the variety of foods roasting and brewing over open fires. The Feast is a weekend in late September or early October each year. Great Skates Fun Center
Great Skates is owned by the Lyn Treece Boy's and Girls Club of Lafayette. Profits go back to the community to benefit & fund programs for youth in the Greater Lafayette Area. Purdue University Galleries
Purdue has two art galleries on campus that showcase a variety of art forms and exhibits. The exhibits change in both galleries every 2 to 3 months so there is always something new to enjoy. Galleries are free and open to the public daily. Hours of galleries are Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:00 to 5 p.m. Galleries are located in the Purdue Memorial Union and Stewart Center Gallery. Historic Five Points Fire Station Museum
This 83-year-old building is new again as a fire station museum. The building has been restored to its 1937 heyday and will house a 1937 Arhnens-Fox fire truck that made runs from the station for more than 40 years. Inside you’ll be able to see what it was like to be a firefighter in the 1930s at the station as well as try on firefighter coats and helmets. For the history buffs, there is a plethora of photos, documents, newspaper clippings, run ledgers, and memorabilia on display that tell the history of the fire department in Lafayette. Columbian Park Zoo
