Tracy Lawrence For The Love

I bought this cd last week and I have just been playing the heck out of it. It's a really great cd. There a couple upbeat songs and some ballads and a few just plain fun songs. Find out who your friends are is on the cd twice, Once with just Tracy and then again at the end with Tim Mcgraw and Kenny Chesney. Either version is really great. Its a fun song about the lengths a friend would go. You can't hide redneck is one of the more funnier songs about a guy who was known in his younger days as a redneck and tries to overcome that and even though he changes so much about him he cant hide it from those who know him. For the love, which is the title track and it features guest vocals by Brad Arnold. I had never heard of him, but he does really well. This song is about not doing things because of any reason other than the love of them. The Second verse is about a rich kid who instead of living on that money becomes a police officer. I was really impressed with this song.

As easy as our blessings is a very heartfelt song, reminds people they should remember the blessings in thier lives as easily as they do the downfalls. Many times people forget the blessings and this song will really make you think about what you do have.

Speed of Flight is a breakup song but its very well written(as are all the songs on this cd) While there is a lot of music and fiddles in this song it really capitalizes on Tracys great vocal talent.

Rock and a soft place is one of my favorite songs on this cd. Its about a girl who has everything and a guy she used to have comes by her house and she wonders should she give up everything she has to have him back or just stay where she is.

Til I was a daddy too is another heartfelt song. Sometimes a parents love really isnt appreciated until you yourself become a parent and thats clear in this song. It says he didnt know what a daddy goes through til he was a daddy too. Its very much worth a listen.

You're why god made me is another of my favorites on this cd. Its a fun song but has a lot of sentiment to it. It has a great message, song says you're why god made me, he put the beat here in my heart to only beat for you. This would be a great song to have your sweety listen to as valentines day is coming up.

Just like that is another great song. Its about falling and how it took no time at all and its not something that happens just like that. Just like her is a song that lists all the things that could be bad for your health and how its all bad for him just like her.

I really enjoyed this cd and I didn't even know he had a new cd coming out. I saw this cd at walmart on the shelf and thought why not because Tracy lawrence has never put out a bad cd. I believe Tracy fans new and old will enjoy this cd and there are a lot of songs that really showcase his vocal talent not just one and its not a cd with just one or two good songs on it the whole cd is amazing.

Happy Listening
Holly
