LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- The porn star who called security on actor Charlie Sheen during his meltdown at a New York hotel is reportedly claiming the actor threatened her, and she's contacted his lawyer.
A lawyer for 22-year-old Capri Anderson sent an email to Sheen's attorney Marty Singer Wednesday, saying she has "lawyered up," TMZ is reporting. Singer apparently shrugged off the email.
The New York Post first reported that Sheen was found highly intoxicated and incoherent in his posh room at The Plaza Hotel just after 2 a.m. Tuesday.
The Post reports that Sheen flew into a rage when he couldn't find his wallet.
Capri, whose legal name is Christina Walsh, was found cowering in the bathroom when police arrived at the hotel room.
According to TMZ, Anderson -- who met the star earlier that night -- was "extremely afraid" of Sheen during his intoxicated rant and called hotel security. The site did not elaborate on claims that Sheen threatened the porn star.
Police say Sheen appeared to be "emotionally disturbed" and voluntarily went to a local hospital at 2:30 a.m.
Witnesses say Sheen exited the hotel clad in just a bathrobe and shorts as he entered an awaiting ambulance.
He was accompanied by his ex-wife Denise Richards, 39, to New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Sheen was in New York on a family vacation.
His ex-wife, actress Denise Richards, and their two children, Sam, 6, and Lola, 5, were staying at the same hotel in a room across the hall, the official said.
His publicist blamed the episode on an allergic reaction to medication.
Richards told CNN's Joy Behar on Wednesday that she knows what happened and is choosing not to say anything.
"I'd rather leave that for Charlie to discuss, if that's something he wants to do, because that's something very personal and private. The thing is that my daughters are 5 and 6, and they're at an age where they can start to understand. They have no idea what went on, and our stuff happened when they were much younger, which I'm so grateful for," she said.
Sheen, the star of CBS' "Two and a Half Men," has had past problems with alcohol and drugs that have landed him in legal trouble.
In August, he pleaded guilty in Aspen, Colo., to misdemeanor third-degree assault after a Christmas Day altercation with his wife, Brooke Mueller Sheen.
Prosecutors dropped more serious charges and he avoided jail time, instead sentenced to 30 days in a rehabilitation center, 30 days of probation and 36 hours of anger management.
Mueller Sheen, who is the mother of twins with Sheen, told police that the actor threatened to kill her and brandished a knife after she told him she wanted a divorce.
Charlie Sheen said they argued but he denied threatening her, and he told police that he was upset by the divorce threat.
He previously went through a bitter divorce and custody battle with Richards. Her publicist said Tuesday she had no comment on Tuesday's hotel encounter.
In December 1996, Sheen was charged with attacking a girlfriend at his Southern California home.
He later pleaded no contest and was placed on two years of probation.
In 1998, his father, actor Martin Sheen, turned him in for violating parole after a cocaine overdose sent him to the hospital. He was ordered to undergo a rehabilitation program.
Sheen is also the star of films such as "Platoon," ''Wall Street" and "Hot Shots!"
