Hayes goes gold (November 20, 2012) |
Hunter Hayes has been accomplishing huge career milestones left and right – and he has just done it again! The singer’s debut self-titled album, has been certified Gold for selling over 500,000 copies. Hunter was surprised when we told him the news!
“It feels amazing. That’s uh – I’m trying to process it right now actually. Like I’ve said many times before – it takes me a while! It’s unbelievable to me, I mean when ‘Wanted’ went Platinum it was nuts to think that there is a million of those out there. It’s crazy it’s awesome though. I love it – it tells me maybe I can keep doing this. So that’s good news!”
Hunter also gave an update on his next album. He has been writing constantly for the project, and plans to have a hand in writing every song on the album. He is currently on the road with Carrie Underwood’s Blown Away Tour, which stops in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 28th
