Owen surprises fan (November 19, 2012) |
Jake Owen will do just about anything for his fans – which he recently proved to five year-old Ava Schipke. The child’s mother tweeted that she found Ava crying on her birthday because, “her boyfriend [Jake Owen] forgot to call her.” Jake made sure to fix that right away, and gave Ava a call. The singer admits that no matter what the situation may be, he likes to build a personal connection with his fans. “I just like talking to people. I like to learn about folks, I like to make new friends and I like to hear what they think. If they think I should put a song out that’s better than this one or that one – people are going to tell you the truth. I just like connecting with people.” Jake is currently spreading love to fans, as he is out on the CMT Tour with Florida Georgia Line and Love & Theft. The will stop in Chicago, Illinois, on November 29th.
