Keith Urban is fully dedicated to his new role as a judge on American Idol, as he has the power to decide the future of many contestants. The singer admits that it’s a tough job to say no to some artists, while others seem to have what it takes. “There have just been a few people that have come through, that I’m looking forward to seeing them evolve through the show. For me, that is one of the exciting parts of the show – is genuinely watching someone like say a Carrie Underwood, and watching her very first audition. Various people will say they don’t have the star quality – they don’t have this or that. Then, watching them just come into their own through the series.
