LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KTLA) -- Justin Bieber was caught in another traffic fiasco Friday, this time inadvertently causing a minor crash as he was pulled over by cops.

According to TMZ, Bieber was either the passenger or the driver in his chrome-colored Fisker Karma when it pulled over on Ventura Boulevard.

A California Highway Patrol officer reportedly spotted a Nissan "aggressively" following Bieber and stopped him, hoping to deter the chasing car.

The 18-year-old pop star was reportedly pulled over for tinted windows, and as for the Nissan, it was being driven by a member of Bieber's security team.

But the big story happened wasn't Bieber's run in with the cops -- just moments later, two cars reportedly driven by paparazzi crashed into each other as they tried to race to the scene.

The two cars reportedly lost control, causing one of them to jump a curb.

Bieber also driving his Fisker when he was stopped by CHP officers on July 6 for driving in a reckless manner, going as fast as 90 miles per hour, according to witnesses. He maintains he was being chased by as many as 5 cars at the time he was caught.

One of the freelance paparazzo allegedly chasing him, Paul Raef, is facing charges of following another vehicle too closely with intent to photograph for commercial gain, the first such case filed under Los Angeles' new paparazzi law.

If convicted, Raef faces up to a year in jail and fines of up to $3,500.

Raef's attorney has said his client is innocent and plans to plead not guilty and fight the charges.
