St. Pete Beach is nestled on Long Key. Upham Beach, located on the northern tip of St. Pete Beach, is one of the few spots along the Gulf of Mexico known for surfing. Playground and showers are available. Beach access is available through Pinellas County Parks or at one of several beachfront resorts. The St. Pete Beach facility offers plenty of parking, restrooms, showers, a water fountain, and three boardwalks to carry visitors over natural sand dunes and sea oats to a white sandy swim area and a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico.
