You can catch the wave on a boogie board or on a board similar to a surfboard. If you are lucky enough to see Arroyo on the wave you can watch as she effortlessly performs ollies, 3 shoves, shove its, big spins, 360s, 720s or backslide rail slides. She makes flowriding seem easy. It is not. I am the genius falling on my face at the end of the video. I tried the surfboard 4 times and fell on my face all 4 times. I have surfed for 20 years and she was right, this is nothing like surfing.
Arroyo has the honor of competing in October in the 2011 FLOW (Flowriding League of the World) Championships in Durban South Africa.
