They come up in late summer to get ready for the election. When they go down, where does all the stuff inside go?
We stopped by the Obama campaign office today where volunteers were emptying out the space they had on Norfolk Avenue in Roanoke. Volunteers from The Salvation Army came today to get some of the furniture to sell in one of their thrift stores. Proceeds from that will directly support shelters for battered women and children.
The Kaine office on Electric road was also breaking down. Computer chords and monitors were strewn all throughout their temporary home in the Tanglewood West office building.
At the Republican Victory Office on Ogden Road in Roanoke County, the doors were bolted, but it looked as though they've started taking their office apart as well.
