Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band and his wife Kacey welcomed their first child in Dallas, Texas. The baby girl, Kline Olivia Diaz, was born 6-pounds, 15-ounces and is a little over 20 inches long. Mike told us earlier this year that even through all of his musical success, he’s most proud of the newest addition to his family. “I feel like I accomplished something quite special there. You know, the career is one thing, but makin’ a baby’s another.” After the birth, Mike told People magazine that seeing Kline for the first time was “the coolest thing ever!” The Eli Young Band heads back out on the road next week with Rascal Flatts on their Changed tour.
