Luke Bryan will be one of many artists performing at the ACM Honors, but the night is extra special for Luke since he gets to recognize his good friend Dallas Davidson. The songwriter is responsible for co-writing two of Luke’s recent #1 hits – “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)” and “I Don’t Want This Night To End” – and Luke can’t believe the two of them have achieved so much together.“The fact that Dallas and I are in this business together, we still, we’ll go fishing or hunting and shake our heads and giggle. The history between he and I is just so deep. It’s amazing, I mean, that I can have the opportunity to honor him on that night and do some of our songs, and the fact that, gosh, the fact that he and I have even written big hits is just borderline comical.” The ACM Honors will highlight non-televised category winners from this year’s ACM Awards. The event will be held at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
