No Idol For Toby Keith

American Idol fans will not be seeing a certain country star on the judge’s panel of the hit show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Toby Keith turned down the position earlier this month. The article cites the singer’s upcoming interview with Inland Empire Weekly, where he described the demanding schedule as the main issue. After word was out, Toby’s publicist confirmed the new and told The Oklahoman,“Toby was flattered but turned down the offer.” Brad Paisley’s name is still being tossed around, although it’s unconfirmed if he will be joining judges Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson on the hit show this season.
