It's the one year since the Indiana State Fair stage collapse, which killed seven and injured around 60 others. A gust of wind caused the roof structure above the stage to fall, moments before Sugarland was scheduled to take the stage. A few months later, the duo said they were thankful to their fans for helping everyone heal after the tragedy. “The fans saved our lives this year and they were super instrumental in what has been the healing from that tragedy, not only for us, but also for the people of Indianapolis and everybody who was there, so we’re grateful.” Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush were not injured in the incident, as they were below the stage area preparing for their performance.
