Taylor Swift Lunches with Cancer-Stricken Fan

Taylor Swift took time out of her busy schedule for a lunch date with a very special fan. Family and friends of 17-year-old Kayla Kincannon, who has been fighting brain cancer for the last year, relied on the help of social media to contact Taylor’s camp for a meeting. According to a blog by Kayla’s dad, she flew to Nashville for “no quick meet and greet photo op.” Taylor and her mother, Andrea, had lunch with Kayla for two hours, where she received a gift basket and signed pictures. Kayla’s dad described the superstar as “the sweetest, most down to earth person.” Kayla also expressed on Twitter that she can’t believe she had lunch with Taylor Swift!
