Tim McGraw not only has new music coming our way, but a big summer tour planned as well! The singer announced that his 30-city Two Lanes of Freedom 2013 Tour will includeBrantley Gilbert and Love & Theft. Tim’s weekends are currently occupied by his Soul2Soul shows at the Venetian in Vegas, where he is joined by his with Faith Hill. Tim admits that the crowd is quite different than the tour he has coming up. “The thing that makes it so energetic is it is so different from when I tour. You go out and do arenas, stadiums and all these big rooms – to be in a room that’s so intimate and so small and the energy form the crowd and to be able to interact like we do, I think that is what keeps it fresh for us. Then, take off and go do another tour, you kind of get the best of both worlds.” Tim has partnered with Tumblr to create the “Fanticipation” program, which allows fans, for the first time ever, to announce through Tumblr when tickets for Tim’s show will be available in their hometown. In February, Tim will call a fan in each market that is selected to participate, and personally tip them off to share the information with friends. The Two Lanes of Freedom 2013 Tour kicks off in May.
