So for the past few days Chrissy has been listening to me singing the "Alphabet Song". You know the one pre schoolers sing. "A B C D E F G.......etc" She asked why I was annoying her with this little ditty? I told her " I need to practice so I will be able to put the letters together so I will be ready to make words Thursday when I return to K105". You know, I just realized that the alphabet contains 27 letters not 26. You say 27, prove it. Well, say it or sing it and you will see. "A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V double (U U) X Y Z". Oh I know its stupid and a long way to go for stupid humor, but its leap year and if we are adding a number such as a date February 29th we should add a letter. Oh well, can't wait to share some fun. I haven't worked a day in my life, and I don't expect to start now. When you love what you do, it's not work. Being back at K105 is just having fun and sharing some music and prizes and visiting with you. I am soo looking forward to the afternoon I return to share the worlds best collection of country music on K105. I just checked the calendar and noticed March 1st is with in moments from now. Everything is right with the world. Before I forget, My thanks to OJ and Pork Chop and not to forget Shamus and Annie who have had to pick up the extras to allow me to have time to recover from my Kidney Transplant rejection. I left you after my show January 10th, wow that was nearly 2 months ago. For me being away from all of you has crushed and bruised my little heart. I have been missing you like "A Lose Dog With A Broken Nose". God willing I will talk with you all Thursday, March 1st at 3pm

Just to catch you up, I am spending time at my home after being hospitalized for rejection of my 3rd Kidney transplant. I have had limited contact with most people due to the anti rejection medicines given to me has wiped out my immune system. This has given me countless hours of napping, sleeping, and resting my eyes. Today was garbage day. Normally not a chore I love, however any excuse to leave the compound (House) is a welcome distraction. I have been desperate to find excuses to take a diversion from my recliner. I even tried to enlist the help of my neighbors dog " Pickles" to throw me a ball and I would chase it. She just laid on her side closed her eyes and slept the afternoon away. I guess I taught her well. After I had finished reading "War and Peace" (Longest Novel on Earth) for the 2nd time, I had one last excuse (Chore) I was saving to get me out of the house. I said "Chrissy, do you have a stamp? I have to mail my new Billion Dollar Life Insurance Policy premium in, it's due TODAY". Ok it's not a billion but it was just the reason I needed to grab the keys and go. I felt like a teen that just got the keys to dads car. I crawled behind the wheel and off to the post office I went. The wind in my hair (Some Hair) with the windows down it was just like a breath of fresh air (It was fresh air). Fresh air, just what the doctor ordered. I am looking forward to a lot of fresh air and being on the air. I am still on track to return to K105 March 1st.

"How do I love thee .... Let me.." ..well you know how the rest of it goes. Valentines Day...oh "Love Sweet Love ".. ! Being home with Chrissy day and night for weeks as I am recovering is like Valentines Day everyday. When you walk into our house you can feel "The Love" hanging in the air. I just heard of a couple who just celebrated their 80 year anniversary. (Their kids must be in their 80s). As I have mentioned, I have lots of time on my hands to ponder life. (Gosh I have to get back to the station..SOON). I am a softy when it comes to romance. (I can enjoy a chick flick). It WAS love at first sight when my little eyes saw Chrissy. After courting (stalking) her for what seemed like a brief moment in time, I convinced her to be my bride. At the wedding ceremony the light shinning though the stain glass window glowed around her golden hair and I said to myself, "I am marrying an angel". A good friend of mine gave me some advice on the eve of my wedding I want to share with you. He said, "Remember how you and her got here" and "Always Date Her". It is the best council I have ever been given on the subject of relationships. Enjoy each other everyday. Can't wait to talk with you on K105.

In the winter my hands become rough and cracked. The other day I noticed my wife, Little Chrissy staring at them. She asked me "whats on your hands? I said, "Time.. lots of "Time" at least until March first. I am just counting the days until we get back together. Every afternoon at three o'clock I find myself talking out loud in the house in "DJ Style". I usually check the temperature, every hour, tell Chrissy what time it is and what's coming up in the next 20 minutes on my schedule. (Usually Nothing). Since leaving the hospital, I have had lots of rest. No one wakes me at three in the morning. Often I take back to back naps though the day. Me, the neighbors dog "Pickles" and a few bears hibernating. Yep, thats me curled up sleeping in the sun(What Sun)all day. You may think , "that's the life" since your hard at work. Well maybe so, however it's hard work coming up with different dreams for each nap. All kidding aside, my transplanted kidney is better and my naps will be though in a couple of weeks. PS, don't forget Valentine Day or you will be napping in the cold.

Last week little Chrissy and I celebrated one of our favorite holidays, Ground Hog Day. We had the traditional Hog Roast and sang "Me and My Shadow". Then it dawns on me, unless I get back on the air, it means I will spend another six weeks recuperating at the house. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.)
Spending time at home is nice , but it has taught me I don't want to retire. The first few hours are ok. But then after alphabetizing the spice rack and color coding the bath towels what's a DJ to do? Oh I remembered "The Super Bowel" was coming up over the weekend. I spent the rest of last week annoying Chrissy with "Super Bowel" trivia. Due to my reduced immune system, a side affect of the medicine they gave me for my transplant in the hospital, I could not attend any party. Oh well, we invited our friends puppy to spend the day with us and had a "Super Ball" party. Pickles, the name of my friends
dashound (Sausage Dog) loved chasing the ball and trying to tackle me. I marked scaled down yard lines on the living room carpet. All was well until little Chrissy told me "I shouldn't have used spray paint to draw the lines on the rug", oops. We need new carpet anyway.
As far as my health is going, I did regain some of the transplanted kidney function back. As far as returning to the air, I am still looking forward to March first. God Bless you all

The answer is, Two to Six.....well that's not important here, but ask me how long it takes paint to dry when I get back on the air. Yes, your Uncle Bob (Vizza) is getting better every day. I am looking forward to being back on K105 soon. Some of you know I am on my third Kidney Transplant. Without going Into too much doctor jargon, transplants are managed by carefully tricking your immune system. Your immune system is designed to attack anything that you were not born with. My niece gave me a kidney following two others that failed, (One from her Mom.) When a "Rejection" occurs, doctors try very hard to save the kidney. This is we're I am now. I tried an Apple a Day, but the doctors didn't stay away.
Oh well, aside from listening to K105 (27 hours a day), I spend time in my new Recording / Shower Studio. Now, all I have to do is convince Shamus and Annie to play my songs. I wonder How DJ Miller, Levi, and the likes did it.
