Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized After Slamming Into 18-Wheeler

Lindsay Lohan ended up in the emergency room Friday after slamming her car into the back of a semi-trailer, TMZ reported.

The accident happened around noon on the Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles when she crumpled the front of her black Porsche into the back of the truck.

Lohan was apparently driving the car, with her assistant in the passenger seat when the accident happened. Both were reportedly left bruised and bleeding; an ambulance showed up to the scene, but TMZ reported that another vehicle took them to an area hospital for treatment.

The Porsche was totaled -- the crash ripped the front bumper completely off the car, smashed the front passenger side and shattered the passenger-side window.

Doctors are currently performing tests, no word yet on her condition.
